This large, modern kitchen was originally too big to be functional. To overcome its sheer size and create a better working space, Alternative Kitchens’ designers chose two mediums for the benches and doors, and incorporated extensive bench space to create the illusion of more useable areas and less floor space.
Clever positioning of the sink close to the fridge and breakfast bar also provided easy access for users who weren’t cooking. To add to the room’s visual appeal, and make the fridge less dominating, our designers opted to run floor tiles up and around the stainless steel two-door fridge.
Designing for Lifestyle
Featuring a waterfall edge to the breakfast bar, floating cabinetry, and two-pack white satin lacquer doors, the kitchen’s design elements make it a modern marvel.
The kitchen contains a large pantry and a bonus pull out pantry next to the fridge for extra storage and ease of use. The kitchen was also modelled to flow seamlessly with the laundry, by replicating the same design concepts around the raised washing machine.
